Deformation and thickness analysis

Within the sound optimization of string instruments, we offer a statical analysis on the basis of our scans. Deficiencies in the material and deformations on the instrument can be analyzed and visualized this way for example through the string tension. On this basis, we are able to identify and decide what can be optimized and corrected on the instrument or what has to be done to avoid damage. If there are static weaknesses for example a ached violin, reversible overlays can be produced which spread and collect the tension and are able to stabilize the Instrument without changing the original substance. This way the sounds remain and e.g. the cracking for the future can be reduced.
